Mon premier Knit Test, je suis fière de moi, total coup de coeur sur ce modèle d'écharpe alors que je suis en général plus branchée Shawl, et aucun regret : très beau rendu, superbe laine, aucune diificulté dans le pattern. Ok j'avoue ce n'est pas moi qui me suis lancée la première, mais finalement très peu de plâtres essuyés par les toutes premières testeuses.
C'est sur le blog d'Emilie que j'ai découvert ce groupe de test ouvert sur Ravelry, et je la remercie bien !!!!

J'aime le fait qu'elle soit asymétrique, légère mais moelleuse quand même, d'un gris clair un peu chiné changeant selon la lumière... Bref, elle est parfaite...
Avalanche de photos de la bestiole, et en exclusivité internationale pour vous prouver que faire un Knit Test c'est bien, mais que ça rigole pas non plus, un petit copier/coller du questionnaire de dingue (condition sine qua none pour remplir le contrat...) que j'ai mis presque plus de temps à le remplir qu'à tricoter cette petite merveille !!!!!

What size needle did you use? 3,5 french size
Were you able to obtain gauge with these? My gauge in stockinette 26stitches
How much yarn did you use (estimated yardage or weight)? You can also tell me grams of yarn used, and I will calculate yardage from that. I used 426 yards (=390m) = 120g
Did the project come out to the dimensions specified? Not so large as indicated but it is voluntary
What were the following dimensions of your finished shawl (after blocking): width = 11inches length = 67 inches, I wanted This dimensions (Too long stoles bother me)
Describe how you blocked your shawl : washed with a little of shampoo especially for wool with tempered water, roll in a hand towel to dry, and finally pin flat on a "gym carpet"
Was the pattern layout easy to read and follow? Yes
Were the instructions, charts, pictures, etc. presented in a logical way? Yes
Were there any rows (or parts of the pattern) you found confusing? No
Did you find any errors in the pattern? If so, where? Yes but already founded by other testers, (line 1-18 instead of 1 -28).
Were the illustrations, photographs, and/or diagrams helpful? Yes, i often work with diagrams I think it's more easy to follow. I think it was an excellent idea to not indicate pairs rows in the diagram, easyer to read like that..
Were there any specific techniques for the pattern that were not explained well? No
Were there any symbols or abbreviations you felt were not explained well? No, all right, the pattern include only symbols frequently used for knitting shawls of stoles
How much time (in hours) did it take you to complete the project (knitting, not including blocking)? About 13 hours without blocking.Is this pattern suitable for beginners? Why or why not? I think yes, because symbols and abreviations are well explained and finally this pattern allows to obtain a little sophisticated lace with only a few sort of knitting stitches.
Did you print out the pattern? IF yes, did all important parts print out, or were items cut off by printer margins? Yes I printed it, it was perfect.

Alors, plutôt technique le truc... Mais sérieusement ça vaut le coup, je me l'aime cette petite "Stole", parfaite pour la mi-saison....
